Recap: A small group of Ram fans braved the cold and icy road conditions to watch a battle of 1 versus 2 as VCU hosted St. Bonaventure. The Rams also looked to extend their current win streak to 5. Fortunately, it was just another night for sophomore starter Bones Hyland. Hyland scored 22 in the 67-64 win over the Bonnies.
Notables:
- VCU turned the ball over 11 times to Bona’s 15.
- VCU shot 36% from the field, connecting on 22 of 61 shots.
- VCU’s bench outscored Bona 13 – 8.
- VCU grabbed 43 rebounds to Bona’s 34.
