Recap: After a close in against Duquesne on Saturday, it felt like a quick turn around before VCU would be back in action at the Siegel Center on Tuesday night as they hosted Rhode Island. It would be a little less stressful for ram nation as VCU maintained a solid lead in the 73-64 win.
Senior KeShawn Curry exploded in the first half with 21 points. He would end the night leading all scorers with 28 points. Junior Hason Ward would be next up with 13 points in the victory.
Next Game: VCU will travel to Fairfax on Saturday February 12th. They will play George Mason at 4pm and the game will be televised on MASN2.
