I've heard that the Metro rail is no longer using cards, that you have to use the app on your phone. Is this true?

Would be nice if the bookstore had some kind of pop up shop at one of the events. The online options are always crap for out of town folks.

Check Target online. Just type in VCU. They have a pretty good in store selection here in Richmond. I am guessing the same stuff is available on their website.

What’s behind the arena bag policy I wonder? My wife has to carry an epi-pen. Doesn’t fit an a pocket nor in a 5x7 clutch. Perhaps this will put her in the medical bag category. We will be renting out space in her 14x14 bag in exchange for beers.

That’s definitely a medical bag item.

So here are some of the events we'll be doing:

Thursday:
We'll be arriving at Walters Sports Bar around 7PM and play for like a half an hour.

Friday:
Pep Rally at 4:50 PM somewhere around the Washington Monument, scheduled for about an hour, followed by a quick stop for a small group of Peppas at Penn Social around 6:45ish (for like 15 minutes) before we rush to the arena for the game.

Saturday:
12PM double decker bus trip around the city (no idea where, and weather permitting) followed by another short visit to Penn Social around 1:45ish and off to the arena.

Sunday:
11:15 AM, one last quick stop at Penn Social followed by one last trip into the MCI Center where we'll cut down the net 😉

If any other things pop up, I'll try and add them, but I'll be spending most of my non-scheduled time with my family that's up there so I may not be 100% on top of things...
