VCU Announces 2022-2023 Non-Conference Basketball Schedule

VCU just announced their out-of-conference schedule for the 2022-2023 season. The schedule features nine home games through December, featuring a visit from Vanderbilt, and road matches against Memphis, Temple, and a trip to Brooklyn for the Legends Classic this season.

VCU head coach Mike Rhoades has expressed this offseason the challenge of scheduling for VCU over the last few years, where decent teams look at VCU’s roster and balk at the idea of a difficult non-conference challenge.

However, VCU’s trip to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, November 16-17, guarantees a winnable game against Arizona State, as well as a matchup with either Pitt (coached by former VCU head coach Jeff Capel) or Michigan.
