Recap: Ram fans had been itchin’ for some hoops at the Stu and Saturday night, they got a scratch. The VCU faithful were treated to the annual introduction of new faces for their squad of the ’22-’23 season at the Black and Gold game.
Team Black and team Gold faced off for 3 quarters and then select players from the men’s and women’s teams duels it out in a three point contest.
The Rams were picked 3rd in the Atlantic 10 pre-season ranking. Junior guard, Ace Baldwin, received preseason first team honors while sophomore guard Jayden Nunn received preseason 3rd team honors.
Next Game: VCU hosts Division II Shippensburg on Oct. 29 for an exhibition at 7pm.
