Video: Baldwin’s 28 points helps VCU hold off Vanderbilt; 70-65

Recap: After a close call at home on Saturday against Kennesaw State, VCU looked to have a better showing as they hosted Vanderbilt Wednesday night.  In a game that would see 15 lead changes, at the end of 48 minutes, VCU came out on top, 70-65 win.

Starting junior point guard Ace Baldwin Jr led everyone in scoring with a career high 28 points. Red shirt Sophomore Jamir Watkins was next up with 13 points.

Vanderbilt coach Jerry Stackhouse would receive 2 technicals, finding his way to the locker room early.  As a result, Baldwin would be shooting 6 free throws, connecting on 4 of 6.

Next Game: VCU will travel to Philadelphia to play Temple on Saturday December 3rd at 1pm.  The game will be televised on ESPNU.
