Recap: After enjoying a brief holiday break, VCU hit the hardwood at the Stu Saturday afternoon. The rams looked to make it a 5 game win streak as they host La Salle coached by Fran Dunphy. Behind junior Ace Baldwin Jr’s game high 19 points, VCU opened conference play with a 80-67 win.
Four Rams scored in the double digits for VCU, junior Ace Baldwin Jr (19), junior Zeb Jackson (14), sophomore Jalen DeLoach (14) and grad student Brandon Johns Jr (10).
Next Game: VCU will travel to Pittsburgh as they face off against Duquesne Wednesday, January 4th. The game will be televised on ESPN+ at 7pm.
