Recap: The Rams looked to start a small, 3 game win streak Saturday at the Stu. University of Northern Illinois looked to reset the win counter for the VCU.
VCU shot lights out in the first half, connecting on 6 of 10 three pointers, 3 of those belong to Senior transfer David Shriver. The Rams would end the first half with a 49 to 26 lead.
The second half would be more of the same.
Four Rams would hit the double digit mark in scoring. Red-shirt sophomore Jamir Watkins led all with 22, sophomore Jalen DeLoach chipped in 16, Shriver with 14, junior Ace Baldwin Jr., 10 .
Next Game: VCU will host Navy Wednesday, December 21st at 7pm. The game will be televised on ESPN+/MASN.
