VCU is rolling. Winners of their last four contests and nine out of their last ten, the Rams have put themselves into pole position in the Atlantic 10 race, currently tied at 5-1 with both Dayton and SLU, but already holding a temporary head-to-head tie-break advantage over the Flyers. The Rams even picked up two AP top-25 votes this past week! So what could spoil all of this positivity? That’s right…Richmond. The Spiders are just on VCU’s heals at 4-2 in conference action and would certainly welcome an opportunity to ruin VCU’s party while reminding the A-10 who the defending A-10 tourney champion actually is.
