Recap: After cruising past Davidson on Wednesday in the A10 quarterfinals, VCU advanced to face off against St. Louis in the Semis on Saturday. Fortunately, it would be another VCU victory with ease with the Rams beating the Billikens 90-78.
5 Rams would score double digit points. Sophomore Jayden Nunn led all with 18 points while senior Brand Johns Jr chipped in 16, sophomore Jamir Watkins with 15, junior Ace Baldwin Jr scored 13 and senior David Shriver scored 11.
VCU shot 59.1% from the field connecting on 13-22 shots. The Rams went 47% from behind the arch, hitting 9 of 19 from deep.
Next Game: VCU will face the winner of Dayton/Fordham in the A10 Championship game Sunday at 1pm. The game will be televised on CBS.
