Recap: The 11:30am tip off time didn’t seem to phase Coach Rhoades and the VCU Rams as they faced off against Davidson in the Atlantic 10 quarter finals Thursday morning, handling the Wildcats from wire to wire, getting the 71-53 win.
Junior Ace Baldwin, sophomore Jamir Watkins, senior David Shriver chipped in 11 points and sophomore Jayden Nunn contributed 10 points in the win.
The Rams shot 57% from the field and 43% from three point land.
Next Game: VCU will face the winner of St. Louis and George Mason Saturday March 11 at 1pm. The game will be televised CBS Sports Network.
