The VCU faithful entered the STU Friday afternoon to welcome and learn more about VCU men’s basketball new head coach Ryan Odom. Athletic Director, Ed McLaughlin, wasted no time in replacing Coach Rhoades after he departed for Penn State University.
The fans were not the only ones in attendance looking to learn more about their new leader. Players from this season’s A10 Championship team were in attendance even after most of them have thrown their names into the transfer portal.
No way of knowing at this time if Coach Odom instilled enough confidence in the existing players as he did the fans. Time will tell.
