Recap: After a beating St. Louis in the semifinals on Saturday, VCU would face off against the Dayton Flyers for the Atlantic 10 Men’s basketball Championship on Sunday. The Rams failed to get an early lead like their previous games in Brooklyn this week but their second half effort helps them fly past Dayton.
Junior Ace Baldwin Jr led all Rams in scoring with 16 points. Sophomores Jalen DeLoach and Jamir Watkins both chipped in 13 points.
VCU shot 46% on the day, connecting on 24 of 52 shots. The Rams shots 46% from deep, hitting 8 of 17.
