The final day of Atlantic 10 action had a major impact on the final standings, as VCU just missed out on a share of the A-10 regular season title with a Jordair Jett game winning layup at UMass. That game however was just one of two road upsets, as La Salle took down St. Joseph's, thus bumping VCU from third in the final standings to second. And with that, we have our official Atlantic 10 tournament bracket.

The Rams matched their seed from last season, finishing just behind Saint Louis in 2013 as well. VCU's first game will be against a team they have yet to lose to this season. The Rams defeated Duquesne at the Siegel Center by 15 earlier this season after trailing at the half. They also swept Richmond, first at the Siegel Center by 11, then most recently in VCU's last road game, a 6-point road win after trailing the majority of the evening.
