DANIELS SCORES CAREER-HIGH 32[/HEADING=3]
Troy Daniels has bounced around the NBA a bit since graduating in 2014 and has landed with the Pheonix Suns this year. The former VCU sharpshooter is connecting on 43.5% of his threes this season and posted a career-high 32 points for the Suns last night. Daniels has seen increased minutes due to a Devin Booker injury and in averaging 14.8 points per contest over his last five games in 26.6 minutes of action.
GRAHAM MATCHES CAREER-HIGH WITH HORNETS[/HEADING=3]
VCU's second all-time leading scorer, Treveon Graham, tied a career-high 12 points with the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night. It was his second 12-point performance in three games for the former Ram, both times coming in under 21 minutes of action. Graham is averaging 17.8 minutes of action this season, up from 7 minutes last year, his introductory season with the Hornets.
BRADFORD BURGESS RETURNS TO BENEDICTINE[/HEADING=3]
Bradford Burgess has returned to his alma mater, Benedictine, as an assistant coach. The VCU legend won two state championships during his time at Benedictine alongside current Portland Trailblazer, Ed Davis, and returns for a coaching stint following an achilles injury that temporary sidelined his professional playing career.
"Burgess brings a wealth of experience because he played highly on every level," said BCP basketball head coach Robert Churchwell III. "He is a high character young man and we are fortunate to have him!"
