VCU welcomed Saint Louis to the Stu for a Friday night conference tilt and routed the Billikens for the second time this season, this time in a 85-52 win.
Korey Billbury led the Rams in the dominating effort, scoring a team-high 20 points, his first 20-point performance in almost two months.
The senior guard was just one of a number of hot-shooting Rams on the night, as VCU shot an impressive 52% from the field while holding Saint Louis to just 35% shooting.
Five Rams finished in double-digits, with Billbury getting strong supporting performances from Melvin Johnson (11 points), Ahmed Hamdy (11 points), Johnson Tillman (12 points) and Johnny Williams who got a rare start and gave VCU an impressive 12-point, 7-assist performance.
Tillman led all players with 11 rebounds for yet another double-double performance for the sophomore. Tillman was questionable heading into this game after tweaking his knee in the first half of VCU's game at UMass.
Havoc was in the building as VCU scored 20 points of 21 Saint Louis turnovers on the evening.
The win snaps a two-game losing streak and moves VCU to 18-7 on the season. Their 10-2 A-10 record currently good for second in the conference, just a game behind league-leader Dayton at 11-1.
VCU will play two more home games this week, first taking on Rhode Island (14-11, 6-6) Tuesday night, then finishing off the week's schedule just two days later with a home tilt against rival Richmond (13-10, 5-6).
