Official details have yet to be released, but VCURamNation.com sources have confirmed Weber will be among the elite group, becoming the first VCU player to receive an invite since Bradford Burgess received the honor following VCU's 2011 Final 4 run.

Weber earned Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year honors this past season as a sophomore, leading the nation in steals percentage while swiping 2.7 steals in just over 20 minutes per game. He'll get a chance to work on other facets of his game in the camp hosted by the former Wake Forest Demon Deacon and six-time NBA All-Star, Chris Paul. This comes just weeks after rising senior, Juvonte Reddic, attended the elite Lebron James Skills Academy.

A number of VCU players have remained active this summer, including Treveon Graham's inclusion in USA Basketball's World University Games roster.

Weber started at point guard just twice for the Rams last season due to a Darius Theus injury. In those games the sophomore averaged 6 points, 7 assists, 6.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals in 25.5 minutes per game in wins over Alabama and ODU. Weber came off the bench but handled the majority of the point guard duties in a 75-65 win over Belmont, posting 7 points, 3 assists, 2 steals and 3 rebounds for the Rams.
