Former VCU sharpshooter Troy Daniels has been traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Daniels and two second round picks were acquired to the Timberwolves in exchange for eight-year vet Corey Brewer and Ronny Turiaf.
"I was shocked. I was shocked," Daniels said in an interview with FOX26 Sports. "The great part about it is, it's still the NBA.
"I can go hopefully play a lot more."
Daniels had averaged 2.7 points per contest in 6.4 minutes per game this season with the Rockets.
