For the first time EVER, every single men's basketball game will be broadcast on live TV, home and away. With Winthrop previously being the last game untelevised, this latest partnership with Comcast Sportsnet closes the gap, and gives fans around the country better access to games this year. If you don't feel like paying $200 for a second hand ticket on StubHub, at least you can now watch the game at a local bar. More details from press release below.

RICHMOND, Va. – The continuous growth of the VCU Basketball brand has happened because of many factors, one of which is great media partners. Comcast SportNet Mid-Atlantic is one of those partners for VCU Basketball.
Once again, Comcast SportsNet and the Rams have partnered together to bring six VCU basketball games to the Mid-Atlantic Region during the 2013-14 season. Three of those games will be on Comcast SportsNet and three will be on CSN Plus.
“VCU basketball is a tremendously successful, exciting and popular program that continues to grow,” said Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic President Rebecca Schulte. “This is a great opportunity for Comcast SportsNet to highlight the Rams and deliver great programming to our viewers.”
Kicking off the Comcast SportsNet slate will be the Nov. 16 matchup against Winthrop. That game will be on CSN Plus at 7 p.m. The Nov. 29 showdown with former CAA foe Northeastern will also be on CSN Plus with a 7 p.m. tip time.
The Comcast SportsNet slate begins on Dec. 1 with a 5 p.m. matchup with perennial NCAA Tournament contender Belmont, followed by the Dec. 5 battle with Eastern Kentucky. The Stu will be rocking when the Monarchs of Old Dominion come to Richmond on Dec. 8 for a 1:30 p.m. showdown, which will be on Comcast SportsNet as well.
The final game will be the Jan. 3 contest against Stony Brook with a tip time of 9 p.m. on CSN Plus.
"We are extremely excited about partnering with Comcast Sports Network to bring the Mid-Atlantic to broadcast these six games,” Director of Athletics Ed McLaughlin said. “Our institutional broadcast package this year puts each one of our games, home and away, on live television, a first for our program.”
With these six games, all 31 of VCU’s regular season games will be shown on live TV. The Rams and Gonzaga are the only non-BCS schools in the country to have every game on live TV.
“As our program continues to gain national influence we will continue to work with our local, regional and national television partners to provide maximum exposure for our program,” said McLaughlin.
