Ira Winderman of the Florida Sun Sentinel is reporting that the Miami Heat have signed a multi year deal that would have former VCU Ram, Briante Weber, on their roster for the remaining regular season games and into the playoffs.

The Miami Heat have reached a multi-year agreement with D-League point guard Briante Weber to join the team for the closing week of the regular season and then to be on the team's playoff roster, a source familiar with the negotiations confirmed Saturday to the Sun Sentinel.
In addition to adding the 6-foot-2 defensive-minded point guard for the balance of the season, the agreement also will retain Weber for the Heat's summer-league team.
Weber, 23, who has helped push the Heat's NBA Development League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce, in to the playoffs, recently completed a 10-day contract with the Memphis Grizzlies before returning to the Skyforce, who on Friday night advanced to the second round of the D-League playoffs.
