Former VCU Coach Dana Kirk Dead at 74

Kirk Coached the Rams three seasons between '76-'79 where he lead VCU to a 67-23 record. After leaving VCU he coached Memphis State through 1986, including an '85 trip to the Final 4 which was eventually vacated when the school was found guilty of NCAA violations.

He was fired by Memphis after the 1986 season before being indicted on income tax evasion.
