On April 2, 2009 VCU introduced a promising young coach to Ram Nation. Exactly two years later, that coach, Shaka Smart, had the Rams playing in their first-ever Final 4 game. Six days after that game he celebrated his 34th birthday.
Coach Smart turns 36 today, so join us in wishing him a happy birthday and great success for many more years!
