If Shaka Smart was a sandwich, what would he be?
I suppose that's a question for a future Ram Nation interview, but in the meantime, hungry fans looking for a taste of VCU greats Jamie Skeen, Joey Rodriguez, Ed Nixon, Brandon Rozzell...and most recently, Bradford Burgess, need look no further than my favorite Fan sandwich spot, <a title="Garnett's Cafe" href="http://www.garnettscafe.com/">Garnett's cafe</a>.
The Garnett's chefs have created five Ram-inspired special sandwiches, named after the former VCU greats jersey numbers.
Garnett's owner Kendra Feather is a huge Ram fan as well as owner of other RVA favs <a title="Ipanema" href="http://www.ipanemaveg.com/">Ipanema</a> cafe on W. Grace street and her newest addition, <a title="The Roosevelt" href="http://rooseveltrva.com/">The Roosevelt</a>, located in Church Hill on N 25th.
(For my money I'd go with J-Rod's "#12", but also recommend the Croque Garnett or Louisville Hot Brown once you've eaten the entire VCU roster).
