If the name looks familiar, it's because he is in fact the younger brother of VCU's own Bradford Burgess, and somewhat of a physical clone at 6'5 200 lbs (according to ESPN.com).

Jordan recently completed a junior season in which he averaged 12.5 points and 8.1 rebounds for the Cadets, and won a Virginia independent schools Division 1 state title.

Burgess, like his brother, operates often from the wing, and can hit the long ball as well as clean up on the glass.

The rising junior was being recruited by VCU, Cleveland State, and CAA rival George Mason, and joins Mo Alie-Cox, and Justin Toyuo in what would be one of VCU's highest ever rated recruiting classes if all three sign official letters of intent.
