Like 13 other teams this season, VCU was stunned to drop its first contest to the surprising Tribe of William & Mary. The Rams weren't able to close out a 13 point halftime lead this past December in the first of 3 CAA losses for the black and gold.
This game should have a different look however, as William and Mary will be forced to contain an additional 13'4" 485lbs of Ram in Jamie Skeen (8.4 pts, 5.5 reb) and Terrance Saintil (3.5 pts, 2.1 rebs in 7.7 minutes of play). Both were forced to miss the first meeting (Skeen due to transfer rules, Saintil via injury).
The Rams have won three straight CAA contests, and are 8-1 in home games this year. William and Mary is no stranger to road diversity however, posting road wins over the likes of Wake Forest and Maryland in rout to a 7-2 road record thus far.
A win would move the Rams to 5-3 in conference play and make up a game on current CAA leader...William and Mary.
