Marquell Fraser announces he will be transferring from VCU

Marquell Fraser has decided to transfer from VCU after playing just one year in the black and gold.

The freshman saw limited minutes in his time as a Ram, but managed to play in 16 games scoring 14 points.

Fraser recorded a career-high 7 points against Howard University while going 3-5 from the floor.

As a 3-star guard from Canada, he held offers from VCU, Georgia Tech, DePaul, Iowa, and James Madison out of high school and was highly touted as a defensive specialist when he was brought in under former Coach Will Wade.
