Ram fans, you have a new favorite football team: the Indianapolis Colts.
Multiple sources are reporting Mo Alie-Cox will sign a contract to go from VCU hooper to professional football player with the Colts. The former Rams forward recently visited the Colts for a workout after working out in Richmond for 30 NFL teams.
Alie-Cox will look to continue the trend of basketball player turned elite TE, following in the footsteps of recent successes like Antonio Gates, Jimmy Graham and Tony Gonzalez and he won't even be the first former forward turned tight end, joining former Miami hooper Erik Swoope in the Colts stable of TEs.
