Dear Sir or Madam,

This email is in regards to your recent online ticket purchase for the December 7th ODU vs. VCU basketball game. Tickets for this game are not on sale to the public and the link you obtained and used to purchase tickets directed you to a testing area of our website that is not intended for public use. The aforementioned link was distributed without the consent of New Era Tickets, Old Dominion University, or the Ted Constant Convocation Center.

As a result, your tickets have been voided and a full refund will be credited to the card you used for purchase within 5 to 7 business days. Please note that any individual attempting to use the tickets you purchased will not be granted admission to the Ted Constant Center for this event.

ODU vs. VCU tickets are currently available via purchase of an ODU 5 game Mini Plan or Season Tickets. More information on these packages can be found at www.odusports.com.

Feel free to respond to this email with any questions.

Sincerely,

New Era Tickets Customer Service

Apparently VCU fans discovered a way to purchase single game tickets to VCU v ODU and went on to purchase a few hundred in total. One VCURamNation.com forum poster posted this morning that his 43-ticket order had been voided and his money had been refunded. Other fans on the site have contacted us to report the same issue.

No word on how fans were able to so easily discover and purchase tickets through the Coxtix.com website (ODU's online box office ran by New Era Tickets), but odds are someone within that company has some explaining to do this morning.

Fans are able to purchase the VCU v ODU tickets now through a three-game mini plan that starts at $70.
