Ram fans knew something was up when VCU had signed more players than they had available scholarships, and yesterday, CBS' Jon Rothstein officially broke the news that it would be Teddy Okereafor leaving for Rider to make next season's numbers work.

Okereafor joins graduating senior, Darius Theus, as the Rams second departing point guard this off season. VCU returns Briante Weber at the position and adds freshmen JeQuan Lewis and Jairus Lyles then follow the 2013 class with 2014 point guard Jonathan Williams.

Okereafor averaged 1.3 points and 1.6 assists in his 8.3 minutes per game as a sophomore. The London England native joins a Rider Broncs squad that went 19-15 this season, falling to the ECU Pirates in the second round of the CIT.
