Justin Tillman lead the Rams with 18 points, 9 rebounds, while Ahmed Hamdy and Samir Doughty put up 12 and 11 points, respectively. While Dayton shot the ball well (48% overall), VCU had a significant rebounding margin with 41 total (Dayton had 24), which helped them edge the Flyers down the stretch.
