It was a rough start to a 5-day work week on Monday when the Rams lost to a strong defensive effort from Northeastern. Both Larry Sanders and Joey Rodriguez were held to just 12 points, while Northeastern's Manny Adako put up 23 and helped shut down VCU's havok offense with a VCU loss, <a href="http://www.vcuathletics.com/mbb/0910stats/vcumbb12.htm">57-62</a>.
