VCU hit Ram Nation with a surprise commitment today, adding 6'8 2022 forward, Toibu Lawal, to it's already highly-ranked class.
The bouncy forward heads to Richmond after a short stay at Lee Academy Prep in Lee, Maine. He originally hails from London, England and joins two top-100 freshmen in Alphonzo Billups and Christian Fermin in the 2022 class. The Rams will also bring in two Michigan transfers in Zeb Jackson and Brandon Johns, as well as sharpshooting Hartford grad transfer, David Shriver.
Lawal averaged 10.6 points and 8.6 rebounds at Lee this past season, shooting 32% from three and 50.4% overall.
