After a good showing down in the Bahamas the Rams were focused on returning back to the Siegel Center as they handled Stetson University from the Atlantic Sun Conference, 92-56.

It took the Rams the first ten minutes before they really started to pull away from the Hatters from Florida. The Rams ended the first half up by 41-22 getting early help from Junior Juvonte Reddic who had 14 points at the half. Reddic would end the night with 20 points and 6 rebounds after sitting out most of the 2nd half.

The Rams shot slightly better tonight than they did down at the Atlantis Resort with 52 % from the field. The Hatters were also no match for the Rams in rebounding as VCU out rebounded the Hatters 41 to 31.

Maybe the most important stat of the night for the Rams was in the turnover battle. The Rams intimidating and energetic defense caused the Hatters to turn it over 22 times. The Rams were able to add 32 points off those turnovers.

The Rams proved no match for Stetson inside the perimeter. Rams dropped in 50 points in the paint compared to Stetson's 22.

The Rams saw increased minutes from Sophomore Jarred Guest which allowed him to score a career high 17 points. Junior Rob Brandenberg also matched Guest with 17 points of his own.

The 4-3 Rams will host Belmont Saturday at the Stuart C. Siegel Center for a 7pm tip off. Game to be broadcast on Comcast Sports Net.
