The Rams picked up three first-place votes, second to only George Mason's four, but still found themselves a fraction ahead of the Patriots in this week's rankings.
Northeastern saw the week's biggest decline, falling from first to sixth after two straight losses, one being a home L to the Monarchs of Old Dominion who jumped a spot to third while picking up one first-place vote in this week's rankings.
Drexel, the CAA's official preseason No.1 selection, dropped two spots from last week's poll, checking in at eighth place after falling to 2-4on the season.
Georgia State was the week's biggest riser after reeling off six straight wins, jumping from ninth to fifth in this week's poll.
