On Wednesday, July 13th, Head Coach Shaka Smart will be joined by recently graduated Ed Nixon, Joey Rodriguez, Jamie Skeen and Brandon Rozzell at the 2011 ESPN ESPY awards where they will hope to pick up the award for this year's "Best Upset".

VCU's historic tournament run will be pitted against Fabricio Werdum's MMA upset over Fedor Emelianenko, Blame the horse's upset over Zenyatta in the Breeder's Cup, and the Seahawk's upset upset over the New Orleans Saints.

In other words, this may be the first time the Ram's have gone into a competition as the favorite since playing Drexel in the second round of the CAA tournament.

Either way, make sure you do your part in helping the Rams pick up the hardware by voting here:

Saturday Night Live's Seth Meyers will host this year's show at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.
