VCU (21-7; 14-3 A10) won it's 8th straight game tonight with a dominant performance against the St. Bonaventure, 74-51.
In a wire-to-wire victory, the Rams were also looking to avenge a 73-53 loss to the Bonnies from Jan. 14th.
VCU struggled early with 7 turnovers in the first four minutes, but over the next 11 minutes they managed to only turn the ball over two more times.
During that stretch with limited turnovers, the Rams turned on an 11-0 run sparked by a triple from Ace Baldwin.
VCU ended the game with 20 turnovers, in what would be their only real faltering all night.
The Rams also turned 17 turnovers from the Bonnies into 24 points of offense.
VCU out-rebounded SBU 40-29, and was able to finish the night with 44 paints in the paint.
KeShawn Curry led the Rams with 14 points while also grabbing 6 rebounds.
Vince Williams, Jr.,  contributed 13 points, while leading the team with 7 rebounds, and 6 assists.
Ace Baldwin, Jr., was the only other Ram in double-digit scoring with 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists.
This was also the Rams 11th win in their last 12 games.
