Rams release full schedule, includes record 23 nationally televised contests

The mothership (VCUAthletics.com) released VCU's entire 2014-15 schedule today, a slate that includes a record 23 nationally-televised games.

“Our fans have always done a terrific job of creating a frenzied atmosphere at the Siegel Center,” Head Coach Shaka Smart said in the official release. “This type of exposure allows people across the country to see what VCU and Havoc are all about.”

An A-10 best 17-of-18 conference games will be broadcast nationally including seven on the ESPN family of networks, eight CBS SportsNet games and two on NBC's Sports Network.

VCU will play 11 games on ESPN networks in total including five home contests.

More VCU games are expected to be televised through the Rams' regional and local television partners. Those announcements will follow in the coming weeks.
