After three straight dominating performances including this Friday's blowout of crosstown rival Richmond, the Rams picked up six more first place votes (nine total) than last week, coming just two votes off a unanimous No.1 by the voters.
George Mason grabbed the only other first place votes (2) and once again checked in at a solid second.
Georgia State continued it's rise, jumping from fifth in last week's poll to third this week after reeling off seven straight wins in dominating fashion.
Northeastern continued their fall after kicking off the season's poll as No.1, dropping all the way down to eighth place this week.
