Originally from Jacksonville, the 6'4 180 guard averaged 19.5 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 4.2 apg as a All-First Coast Second Team selection in 2017 and will play a post-graduate season this upcoming year at Fork Union.
Curry joins P.J. Byrd as the second freshman member of VCU's 2018 class. They'll be two of Rhoades' new Rams joining Corey Douglas, a former Rice Owl under Mike Rhoades who'll spend this upcoming season at Tallahassee (Fla.) Community College before heading to Broad St. Fellow Rice Owl Marcus Evans is already with the team but will redshirt this upcoming season due to NCAA transfer rules.
