Tonight they'll take on this week's third place team Georgia State, who actually fell one spot from last week's poll (editors note: votes are due before Monday night games, thus excluding the Panthers home win against Drexel).
Voters were likely impressed by George Mason's road win against a tough College of Charleston squad who came into the meeting a respectable 10-2 with wins over Clemson, UMass, Tennessee and an underrated Coastal Carolina squad.
Old Dominion jumped two spots in this week's poll after nearly taking down the eighth-ranked and unbeaten Missouri Tigers in Norfolk.
UNCW rounds out the list of risers after winning four of their six games by the time of this week's voting.
