Siegel center on Friday night.  It felt more like mid season conference play.
The sold out crowd was given goosebumps as the Final Four video montage played before the dropping of the Final Four Banner.  This could have been intimidating to the Red Flash from St. Francis University.  The team out of the Northeast Confernce didn't play like it though taking the Rams down to the wire.
But the Rams weren't about to give up their home opener for the first time since 2003, getting the win, 63-57.
The Red Flash kept it even with the Rams in the first half for the most part, seemingly getting to the rim with ease.
Junior, Troy Daniels went on a tear from behind the arc in the first half shooting 4 of 8, leading the Rams at the break with 12 points at the break and ended with a career high, 21 points.
Sophomore Juvonte Reddic played aggressively and grabbed a career high points with 19.  He also led the Rams with 9 rebounds.
Senior,  Bradford Burgess struggled on the night with just 2 points and failing to hit a bucket in 11 attempts on the night.
The Rams will travel to Charleston, SC where they will take part of the Charleston Classic and face Seton Hall on November 17th.
