Coach Smart will serve as host for President Obama's reelection rally to be held at the Siegel Center this Saturday at 2PM, which will also include an appearance by the first lady, Michelle Obama.
The last time these two crossed paths were at last year's White House Correspondents dinner where Coach Smart was invited after leading VCU to a historic run to the 2011 NCAA Final 4.
This will be the forth time a recent Ram has mingled with the President, the others being the aforementioned Correspondents dinner, a trip from former point guard Joey Rodriguez to last year's Cinco De Mayo festivities at the White House, as well as a recent trip to play ball with the President as former VCU great Eric Maynor joined OKC Thunder teammates Kevin Durrant and James Harden on the presidential hardwood.
