VCU put on an impressive show Tuesday night in the Bronx as VCU guard Max Shulga put up a double-double with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists, sealing a 75-60 road win against Fordham. Joe Bamisile also put up 13 points, shooting 5-9 overall and hitting 3 of 5 three point attempts.
The game was Sean Bairstow's first game back after missing two games due to a rib injury - he proved dominant on defense for VCU, recording 8 rebounds along with 12 points.
Along with holding Fordham to just 60 points, VCU walks away with another remarkable offensive performance, shooting an impressive 51% from the field while connecting on 9 three-pointers out of 21 attempts.
VCU will return home to the Siegel Center on Friday to face the red hot Dayton Flyers who are currently 18-3. The game will tip at 7:00 PM on ESPN2.
