Siegel Center adds some bling

The VCU Board of visitors approved $3 million in upgrades to the 12-year old Stuart C. Siegel Center.

The renovations will include the addition of an additional 200 seats connected to a swanky club venue which would replace the Founder's Room.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports the project could be completed by the end of the year, but Brian J. Ohlinger, associate vice president for facilities management, said that timetable was "fundraising-dependant".

Below are some preliminary renderings of what the upgrades will look like.
