Tillman gets 10-day contract with Atlanta Hawks

Justin Tillman has signed a 10-day contract with the Atlanta Hawks, the team announced today.

The hyper-efficient former VCU big man joins the Hawks from their G League affiliate, the College Park Skyhawks. Tillman has appeared in 14 games this season, averaging 13.1 points and 7.5 rebounds in 22.0 minutes while posting a 63.9% true shooting percentage. He averaged 24 ppg and 16 rebs in just 26.5 minutes of action in this year's NBA G League Showcase.

Tillman has gone back and forth from the G League to Europe since graduating from VCU in 2018. The Detroit native was originally recruited by Shaka Smart and played for three coaches during his for years on Broad St. He finished his career with 1455 total points and 922 rebounds for the Rams and played on three NCAA tournament teams.
