Add another first to VCU's history on head coach Shaka Smart, as the Rams entered this week's Associated Press poll at No.10, the first time the black and gold have cracked the top-10 during regular season play in school history (VCU finished the season No.6 in 2011 after a trip to the Final 4).
The Rams jumped four spots from last week's poll thanks to a big road win at previously ranked UVA and three losses from teams ranked ahead of them.
No.7 Michigan, No. 10 Florida and No.12 North Carolina all suffered losses since last week's rankings. The Rams jumped Memphis to grab the final top-10 spot.
