RICHMOND, Va. – The Rams are headed abroad.

VCU Men's Basketball will take a 10-day tour of Greece July 31-Aug. 9. Three exhibition games are currently scheduled for the excursion, which will include numerous sightseeing and team bonding opportunities.

"We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to travel to Greece this summer to compete against quality competition while enjoying time together in such a beautiful place," said VCU Head Coach Ryan Odom. "A foreign tour is always one of the more memorable experiences that a student-athlete will have during their time in college. It's a tremendous opportunity, especially with so many new faces, for us to connect and begin to put our team together."

VCU is scheduled to visit Athens, including the Acropolis and Parthenon, Delphi, the Gulf of Corinth and the Athenian Riviera. It will be the program's first foreign tour since the Rams traveled to Spain in August of 2016.
