From vcuathletics.com:
VCU and New Mexico have agreed to a home-and-home series, set to kick off next season.
The Lobos will host the Rams on Dec. 18, 2024 in Albuquerque, N.M. at historic University Arena, affectionately referred to as "The Pit". VCU will host the return game at the Stuart C. Siegel Center during the 2025-26 season at a date that has not yet been determined.
The Rams, led by second-year Head Coach Ryan Odom, and Lobos will be meeting for just the second time, and VCU will be making its first-ever trip to The Pit. VCU and New Mexico faced off previously on Nov. 29, 2008 at the Cancun Challenge. VCU won that contest 67-55.
New Mexico, led by fourth-year Head Coach Richard Pitino, is coming off a 26-10 campaign that saw the Lobos capture the Mountain West Tournament Championship and reach the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
