VCU road game at LSU cancelled, Rams to host JMU instead

After a day of rumor and speculation, VCU's athletic department has confirmed that Rams' road game at LSU on Tuesday has been cancelled due to COVID-19 issues within the Tigers program. VCU leads the recent home-and-home series between the two programs 1-0, after the Rams defeated Will Wade's LSU Tigers last year, 84-82.

In lieu of the cancellation, VCU has scheduled a matchup against in-state and former conference rival James Madison this Tuesday, December 22nd at 4:00pm at the Siegel Center. The game will air on MASON and ESPN+. This will be the first time the two programs have met since the 2011-2012 season, after which VCU left the CAA for the Atlantic 10. VCU leads the series between the two programs 44-21.
