Tonight marked the first time St. Bonaventure traveled to the Stuart C. Siegel Center for VCU's last regular season game and sadly, it marked the final home game for Seniors Juvonte Reddic and Rob Brandenberg. Coach Smart and company would send the seniors off the right way, defeating St. Bonaventure 86-67

The win closed out the Rams first ever season of being undefeated at the Stuart C. Siegel Center. Brandenberg would get things going early for VCU scoring the teams first three field goals for 8 points giving the Rams an early 9-0 lead four minutes into the game.

After a slow start, the entire team helped with the first half offensive attack. VCU would have its largest lead going into the break with 16, 44-28.

Despite having 5 Rams score in double digits, St. Bonaventure was able to cut the Rams lead to just 6 with under eight minutes remaining, attacking the paint at will. SBU outscored VCU in the paint 42 to 36 and out rebounded VCU 37 to 30.

Fortunately for VCU, St. Bonaventure really only had one player doing the scoring for the Bonnies. Junior Matthew Wright dropped in 21 points. It was a more balanced act for VCU.

Brandenberg and Junior Treveon Graham led scorers with 18 each and a close third was Freshman JeQuan Lewis with 14. Reddic would end the night with a double double also collecting 14 rebounds.

St. Bonaventure turned the ball over 24 times while the Rams converted those into 31 points.

The win moves VCU to 24-7 overall and 12-4 in conference. The Rams end the regular season on a four game win streak and hope to keep up the pace in Brooklyn on Friday for the Atlantic 10 Conference tournament.
